About race
The final part of the VALACHY TOUR at the Valachy Resort in Velké Karlovice. A trail running race along the sharp Wallachian hills. The track leads through the Hanzlůvka valley and past the Za Miloňová belfry to the ridge of the Vsetínské Beskydy, below Vysoká and to Človéčí, from where it gradually descends along a sharp cemetery with wonderful and, even for local residents, unusual views of the Beskydy and Javorníky mountains. Unique views, hearty hills, but above all a huge experience. The joy of movement and the joy of nature!
Routes of 12.5 kilometers, 6.5 kilometers and a family race of 3.2 kilometers.
Competitors can warm up after the race in the thermal pools of the nearby Wellness Horal relaxation center.
Proposition
MAIN RACE ROUTE (12.5 KM)
- The route leads along the asphalt road beyond Galik to the Hanzlůvka valley. After about 500 meters, it turns onto the former standard cross-country route (camel), where the competitors will reach the former camp. Here it begins to climb sharply past the cottage "U Křenků" to the belfry "Za Miloňová". Then follow the yellow sign up to Polana Hill, where you continue smoothly following the red tourist sign in the direction of "Vysoká". Shortly after the "Rozcestník Polana" at an elevation of 938 m.a.s.l. finds "Mountain Premium"!
- From here, the competitors continue slightly downhill along the asphalt road to the junction "Pod Vysokou", where they connect to the blue tourist sign. After that, they continue for only about 300 meters and then converge in a gentle and long descent to a magical place with a view, called "Na Človečí". The route continues by running along a sharp ridge with wonderful and, even for local farmers, unusual views of the Beskydy and Javorníky mountains. The descent results in a beautiful trail footpath, which leads the competitors back to the main road of the municipality of Velké Karlovice, and from there it leads the competitors back to Galik along the marked cross-country trails. The story to the finish area traditionally leads behind the cabins of "Areálu Lesková" and in front of Galik an attractive finish line is laid out with enough space for the final sprint to the finish line.
SHORTER ROUTE (6.5 KM)
- The route starts in the footsteps of the main race. However, it disconnects at the camp and goes around the "Velké Hanzlůvka" valley along the forest paths, then rejoins the cross-country trail passage that leads the competitors to the main road of the village of Velké Karlovice. The competitors then take the same route as the main race to the finish line in front of the Galik Hotel.

Family race for couples (3.2KM)
- Family run route Běhej Valachy length is 3.2 km. The first half is along the asphalt forest road to the Staut camp in the valley of the Hanzlůvka river. It is a slightly ascending fixed path. After crossing it, the forest path begins, which will lead the participants back to Galik. The forest path descends slightly and you will see Hanzlůvka and the path you ran along below you the whole time. The final tens of meters around the cabins behind Galik are shared with the route of the short and long race.

Cancellation terms:
The paid entry fee is non-refundable. If the race is canceled due to force majeure, we will transfer the entry fee to another race of the DATART VALACHY TOUR series. Every entry fee is insured by Kooperativa pojišťovna, which refunds the entry fee in case of illness - details HERE
If you withdraw from the race within 30 days of the start, we return 30% of the entry fee. After that, we do not refund the entry fee.
The entry fee can be transferred to another competitor within 7 days of the start. Send your request by email to valachytour@valachy.cz. Send the name and email of the new competitor, who must already be registered for the race. We charge an administrative fee of 100 crowns for the transfer.

KILPI mountain premium RUN VALACHY
For long-distance runners there is a KILPI mountain premium at the highest point "Pod Vysokou". Those who are in 33rd, 99th and 133rd place on the mountain premium will be rewarded. The announcement will take place at the beginning of the announcement ceremony. Personal presence at the award ceremony is required.
Proposition of a family race of pairs
The Rodina track is intended for pairs of runners, when one is older than 18 years, the other is between the ages of 9 and 15. The goal is to enable parents and their children to "race".
Both an adult and a child must register for the family pairs race in advance, and the child can be re-registered or changed when present on the day of the race. Both runners will receive a starting number, while the children's will be equipped with a measuring chip.
The condition for inclusion in the results list is that the pair arrive at the finish line at the same time. We announce the three best couples regardless of age or gender. We will not check if a pair is related, however we recommend it.
We assume that children who regularly play sports will participate in children's races in the morning and then sign up with their parents for an afternoon family race for pairs. That's also why we put the start of this race at the end of the starts - 12:10 p.m.
Organizational information RUN VALACHY
- Starters under the age of eighteen will only participate in the race with the written consent of their parents
- The route is marked with red arrows on a white plastic table and white milk with the VALACHY TOUR logo
- Everyone is responsible for knowing the route
- Littering on the track means disqualification from the race and not appearing in the results list
- The start list will be available on this website the week before the race
- The limit is 2 hours on the main route, 1 hour 15 minutes on the short route.
Showers and toilets
Sanitary facilities and showers will be available in the premises of the Galik hotel. A lockable changing room will also be available. It will be marked.
