DATART Valachy tour

DATART Valachy tour is a series of races in various individual endurance disciplines, held throughout the year at the Valachy Resort in the village of Velké Karlovice and its surroundings. All disciplines are included in the overall evaluation according to the established key. In 2023, the VALACHY TOUR includes 4 races: VALACHY NIGHT TRAIL (race in cross-country skiing using classic technique in the evening using headlamps), VALACHY MAN (triathlon, swim-bike-run), BIKE VALACHY BÍLÁ (mtb marathon) and RUN VALACHY (race in trail running – experience running through the beautiful nature of the Beskydy and Javorník mountains).

The DATART Valachy tour series is aimed at the amateur sports public on a mass scale and at generally available and well-known sports. The tracks are friendly to amateurs and recreational athletes. At each race, however, each participant will have the opportunity to compete with professional athletes and champions in their respective disciplines.

The series includes attractive "prize money" and valuable prizes for the winners of individual races and the entire series, as well as small sponsorship gifts for all participants.

Category

Always until reaching the given age in the calendar year. Category M/F 61+ then from the age of 61 in the given year and older.

Scoring

Each race is always evaluated in a result list common to all categories. According to the order in the overall result list, the competitors are allocated points for the overall evaluation of the series. The results of individual races are then announced according to the listed categories.

Scoring for the overall rating of the series

• 1st competitor at the finish line - gets the maximum number of points listed
• Competitors in 2nd - 15th place - always get 2% less of the maximum listed points
• Competitors in 16th - the last place - always get one point less

The mentioned system does not apply to the counting of the category of relays or family teams from the DATART VALACHY TOUR races. The results of relays and family teams are not included in the overall rating of the series.

Team scoring

Active participants of the DATART VALACHY TOUR have the opportunity to participate in the team competition. Just put together a multi-member team and participate in the team competition. If the VALACHY TOUR participant has a completed team item, his points earned in the race are counted towards the team.

The points of the five best-placed team members, regardless of gender or age, in all VALACHY TOUR races are added up. After each race, the number of points for the given team will be fixed. If the participant changes the team during the year, he cannot take the points from the previous race to the new team. In the next race, he will bring points to the new team.

At the end of the DATART VALACHY TOUR, the three best teams will be announced at the last race and on the valachytour.cz website. Winning teams will receive valuable prizes from partners.

• DATART VALACHY TOUR winner in the men's category (1st, 2nd, 3rd to 20th place in the overall ranking)
• DATART VALACHY TOUR winner in the women's category (1st, 2nd, 3rd to 20th place in the overall ranking)
• The condition for receiving the award is personal participation at the announcement at the last race of the series

Rules

• All competitors and organizers behave responsibly, respectfully and in accordance with good manners.
• Each competitor confirms in the online registration process, or signs a statement at the registration site, that he is medically fit to participate in the event and that he starts at his own risk.
• Prohibition of the presence of people other than competitors or organizers in the area of ​​the start and finish of all disciplines.
• In the NIGHT TRAIL OF GALLOTS race, due to the race taking place in the evening hours, it is mandatory to have functional night headlamps on!
• During the VALACHY MAN race, the depot will always be closed at the start of the race, or at the start of the first competitor. The competitor must make all adjustments at his station in the depot by this moment.
• Drivers are prohibited, no one except registered competitors and organizers may move unnecessarily on the track.
• Refreshments can only be served by the organizers at predetermined refreshment stations.
• A condition for participation in a cycling race, or in the cycling part of the race, is a cycling helmet.
• It is possible to file a protest against the results of officially announced races. The protest is submitted to one of the members of the organizing committee and a fee of 1,000 crowns must be paid. If the protest is accepted, the fee will be refunded.
• Valuable material prizes, diplomas, medals, and cups are prepared for the first three in each category.
• After the end of the race, competitors will be drawn randomly to undergo a doping test.
• Every competitor, in the case of a relay race at VALACHY MAN, i.e. every member of the relay, pays the entry fee. After the payment has been credited to the organizer's account, the entry fee is non-refundable. The entry fee is not refunded even in case of withdrawal from race or disqualification.

Children's DATART VALACHY TOUR

The Children's DATART VALACHY TOUR is a series of children's competitions in various sports, taking place in the Valachy Resort in the village of Velké Karlovice and its surroundings, and is intended for children and youth up to and including 15 years of age. The results of all races are included in the overall rating. Children's VALACHY TOUR includes four races: Children's NIGHT TRACE OF VALACHY (race in cross-country skiing using classic technique), Children's BIKE VALACHY (race on mountain bikes), Children's VALACHY MAN (triathlon - swim-bike-run), Children's VALACHY RUN (race in cross-country running).

The goal of the Children's DATART VALACHY TOUR is to enable all children, regardless of ability, to get acquainted with the possibility of playing sports, being active, moving, gaining a competitive spirit, learning the rules of fair play, learning to respect others, and experiencing the feeling of a competitor. Children's VALACHY TOUR is not only intended for active sports children from sports clubs. The goal of the organizers is to make events for children, not for unhealthy ambitious parents or coaches who want to win at any cost.

The tracks are child-friendly, the main criterion is safety. They are planned so that every child in their age group can complete them. The best children in individual categories will be rewarded with a diploma, if it is possible for the organizers, as well as with medals and small prizes. After the end of the last race, the overall results of the Dětská VALACHY TOUR will be announced.

Age distribution for the year 2024

• Category under 4 years - year of birth 2020 and younger
• Category under 6 years - year of birth 2019-2018
• Category under 8 years - year of birth 2017-2016
• Category under 10 years - year of birth 2015-2014
• Category under 12 years - year of birth 2013-2012
• Under 15 category - year of birth 2011-2009

The year of birth of the child is always decisive for inclusion in the category. Exceptions are not possible. We ask that parents enter the correct date of birth. The organizer is not responsible for any errors. Incorrect classification in the category means disqualification of the child and not being included in the results list.

Scoring Children's DATART VALACHY TOUR

Each race will be evaluated according to individual age categories, and according to the order, the children are assigned points for the overall evaluation of the series. Thus, the announcement of the overall results of the entire series takes place according to age categories. Except for the two youngest categories under 4 and under 6 years. For the youngest children, the order of the children at the finish line is not determined, nor are the children on the podium announced.

• 1st competitor at the finish line - gets the maximum number of points listed

• The best three competitors in the Children's DATART VALACHY TOUR in each age category, except for the two youngest categories under 4 and under 6

Scoring of teams in children's races

Active participants of the Children's VALACHY TOUR have the opportunity to participate in the team competition. Just put together a multi-member team and participate in the team competition. If the child has a completed team item, his points earned in the race for the team are counted.

The points of the five best-placed children from the team, regardless of gender or age, in all five DATART VALACHY TOUR races are added up. After each race, the number of points for the given team will be fixed. If the child changes teams during the year, he cannot take points from the previous race to the new team. In the next race, he will bring points to the new team.

At the end of the DATART VALACHY TOUR, the three best teams will be announced on the valachytour.cz website. We do not announce the teams at the closing ceremony. Winning teams will receive valuable prizes from partners.

Policies for the Children's DATAART VALACHY TOUR

• All participants, their companions and organizers behave responsibly, respectfully and in accordance with good manners and in the spirit of fair play.
• Parents are responsible for children. When registering for the race, each parent or legal representative signs a declaration that the child is medically fit to participate in the event, that the child starts under the parents' responsibility and that the parents are aware of the dangers involved in the child's participation in the race.
• During the VALACHY MAN race, the depot will always be closed at the start of the race, or at the start of the first competitor. All adjustments at his station in the depot must be made by the competitor, even with the help of an escort, by this moment.
• No one except registered competitors and organizers may move unnecessarily on the track.
• Refreshments can only be served by the organizers at predetermined refreshment stations.
• Condition for participation in a cycling race, or in the cycling part of the race, is a cycling helmet. Participation in the race will not be allowed without a bicycle helmet.
• Each race participant must have a starting number.
